Text Box: Synopsis:

One person's journey and awakening in the landscape of universal consciousness.  Eli Bodhi arrives -- unannounced -- in the disorienting world of the Neurosphere, a realm of unknown composition.  In the Neurosphere, time and space are confusing mysteries Eli must unlock while faced with an enemy who challenges the very heart of Eli's compassion, awareness, and understanding.  Confronted with terror, Eli is forced to defeat his foe in a manner never previously witnessed on screen.
Text Box: Overview:

Written and directed by Daniel Hedden, Neurosphere is a feature length digital film project intended for premiere at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
Shot in 16:9 aspect ratio, 24p, with dynamic and striking black & white cinematography.
Text Box: Themes/Motifs:

Neurosphere contains all the elements of a classic postmodern Western, blended with Buddhist philosophies, high-tech gadgetry and digital slight of hand. Gambling motifs, industrial wastelands, ambient electronic music, drum & bass, and classical Spanish guitar make up some of the moods and atmospheres of the film.
Text Box: Art/Costumes/Set Designs:

The fashions of costume designer Bodhi Vela Cole, storyboard artist Carol Underwood and set artwork by Elizabeth Buchter and Anna Huff bring the world of Neurosphere to life. Elaborately beautiful sets and locations, chosen to represent a variety of natural and unnatural landscapes, include a giant location set in Black Rock City, Nevada, natural features such as Ship Rock, New Mexico and studio sets in Santa Cruz, California.
